The name of this restaurant makes a bold statement, and so does the food. The long list of spicy, flavorful dishes includes balti dall, cheese chulia, and the basic balti, a chunky, pungent stew made with a variety of ingredients. This popular meal is served in a small, wok-like dish, and, instead of utensils, it's served with light, fresh nan bread to mop up the sauce. No alcohol is served, but if you bring a bottle of wine, they will chill it for you. Locals say that for balti food, this is one of the least expensive but also one of the best. No reservations. Casual dress.
